As I said, I'll be going to Miscon tomorrow.  And because today has been such a bear, I haven't replied to comments, but will do as soon as I can after Miscon.  Here is my schedule for the nonce:

Saturday, 6-7:00 p.m. reading
Sunday, 6-7:00 p.m., Relax and write with Parris ja Young, CJ Cherryh, Mj Engh and of course, moi
Monday, 10-11 a.m., Women in Fantasy--four women discuss their work in the genre and how women have been represented in it, with Patty Briggs, MJ Engh, Vick Mitchell and moi.

I have packed.  Check that.  I have OVER packed.  Always do.  Can never figure out in advance what I might want to wear.  Part of that is the weather issue, part is the air conditioner v. not issue, and part is being indecisive as hell.  So, too much stuff.  But at least it's in a suitcase, and that gives me some points.

I'm worrying now about getting my caffeine fix (diet coke--don't drink coffee).

Watched the season finale of Lost last night.  I liked it.  Still confused and intrigued.  Wondering just what in the hell happened exactly.  And just what the Others are up to.  I find the head dude very creepy.  And I'm really intrigued by the four-toed statue foot (hopefully that's not a spoiler).

I'll try to check in from Miscon, but if I don't get a chance, have a great weekend, and may it be sunny and sans skeeters.

CJ Cherryh, apart from your lovely self, of course, is one of my favourite authors, genre notwithstanding. When you meet her, could you do me a favour and tell her from me to GET THE HELL OFF HER LAZY BUM ANBD WRITE SOME MORE?

Ahem. Sorry about that. Thanks.

And then she wasn't there . . . Apparently her partner had a back injury of some sort. So . . . maybe I can give her the message next year . . .
