[info]otterdance did a belief-o-matic and I thought I would too. It asks some questions to see where a person most closely aligns religiously. I thought it would be fun, and so here are my results. And I'm thinking it pretty much gets me into the right neighborhood, though, really, this is not exactly a way to discover yourself:

1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (93%)
3. New Age (88%)
4. Liberal Quakers (76%)
5. Secular Humanism (76%)
6. Reform Judaism (75%)
7. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (74%)
8. Mahayana Buddhism (73%)

I need to retake this. It is interesting to see how the middle changes when you take it every few years. That seems to be the main area that changes is the "little things" that reflect how much you crossover into other religions or beliefs.

Thanks for posting it.

Did this one a while back - heck of an interesting quiz. My number 1 and 2 were main-to-liberal Christian Protestant & liberal Quakers. Interesting for both, and not inaccurate, but there's not any easy way to define what I believe because I believe in so much and that so much belief is interconnected. Example - while I believe that there is one god, I also believe in a life force through the planet, and that the two perhaps are not mutually exclusive. I also believe that while there is a distinct god, we can all find a small piece of that god within ourselves, nature, life, the stars... it's all one to me. If you could draw belief as an object, mine would be a quilt. Tattered and frayed in some places, but overall, it's a bunch of bits and pieces that come together as a whole to protect and comfort the self.

My top three were Shikism, Mahayar(?) Buddist, and Neo-Pagan. Interesting. Thanks for sharing!

I'm shocked by my results! Very long story, but now my mom is a Jehovah's Witness and they were terrible to me and my sisters (basically told us that since we were being abused to the point of near death, we must be terrible children but we definately deserve it, and accepted mom into the religion without hesitation). We have gone to many types of churches around here (limited type availability) from childhood. Now I basically refuse to go to any because there are things I disagree with in all of them and I don't like that.

My top ones were:
Reform Judaism (100%)
Sikhism (96%)
Unitarian Universalism (95%)
Liberal Quakers (94%)
BUT the ones I disagree with most, even though they are on the very bottom of the list, STILL have "agreement" at a really high percentage considering!
20th - Jehovah's Witness (28%)
