It snowed today.  Started around noon and we ended up with about 6-8 inches.  Heavy wet snow.  Now, you have to understand that we live in the rockies in high mountain desert.  We have cactus here. Prickly pear.  We don't get a lot of precipitation.  And a lot of the snow we get is so dry you can sweep it away with a broom or use a leaf blower to get rid of it.  You can't usually make a snowball out of it without using a squirtgun to add water.

But not today.  It's wet snow.  Real snow.  So tomorrow we sled.  Should be fun.  Because the snow will melt in a few days, or we'll have tons of ice.  One or the other.

Paul Youll is doing my cover.  www.paulyoull.com  Wow.  Just wow.

Yay for you. We enjoyed our recent snow, although the snowballs / snowmen were tough to make, for the exact reasons you described.
